Roster and Conditions

• 7 on 7 off day shift only roster
• Surface workshop, no underground work
• FIFO from Adelaide or Port Augusta – flights included
• Accommodation and meals provided

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing light vehicles and site support equipment
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently
• Completing preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs
• Supporting equipment availability across site operations
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records via AMT
• Following site procedures, safety standards and manufacturer requirements
• Working collaboratively with supervisors, HD Fitters and service personnel to minimise downtime

What You’ll Need

• Trade qualification in a relevant mechanical field, such as Light Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic or similar
• Previous experience maintaining light vehicles in a mining, civil, heavy industry or remote site environment
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a site-based maintenance environment
• Solid commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
• Willingness to follow site safety procedures including clean-shaven policy
