About the Role
We are seeking experienced operators to support Tailings
Storage Facility (TSF) construction works at Sino Iron.
These are hands-on roles working on embankment construction, lift raising,
material placement and haulage, within a controlled, safety-critical civil
environment. Operators will play a key role in delivering compliant, engineered
TSF outcomes in line with design and QA requirements.
Position
Komatsu 830E Haul Truck Operators – $62.50 p/h
Key Responsibilities
- Hauling engineered materials (C3 rockfill, select fill, topsoil) to active TSF embankment zones
- Supporting embankment lift construction and sequencing in line with methodology
- Maintaining safe and efficient haul routes on active TSF walls and work fronts
- Working to tight cycle control to meet construction rates and placement targets
- Conducting pre-starts and reporting defects
- Complying with all TSF-specific safety, segregation and access controls
Requirements
- Proven experience operating Komatsu 830E haul trucks (or similar large mining trucks)
- Previous experience in a mining or civil construction environment
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Ability to complete a mask fit test
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on TSFs, dams, or large-scale civil earthworks (highly regarded)
- Understanding of engineered fill placement and QA/QC environments (desirable)
Roster and Conditions
- 2:1 rotating day/night roster
- Flights provided ex-Perth
- Early to mid-May start
