Roster and Conditions

• 7 on 7 off day shift only roster
• ROM and stockpile rehandle project, surface work only
• FIFO from Adelaide or Port Augusta – flights included
• Accommodation and meals provided

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Inspecting, removing, repairing, fitting and maintaining tyres, wheels and rims on site-based mobile mining equipment
• Carrying out tyre pressure checks, condition inspections and tyre rotations safely and efficiently
• Completing preventative maintenance, scheduled tyre works and breakdown support
• Supporting equipment availability across site operations through safe and timely tyre fitting work
• Maintaining accurate tyre, rim and maintenance records via AMT
• Following site procedures, safety standards, manufacturer requirements and tyre-handling practices
• Working collaboratively with supervisors, HD Fitters, LV Mechanics and service personnel to minimise downtime

What You’ll Need

• Relevant tyre fitting experience and/or qualifications, such as Cert II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or equivalent experience
• Previous experience fitting and maintaining tyres in a mining environment
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safe tyre-handling capability
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a site-based maintenance environment
• Solid commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
• Willingness to follow site safety procedures including clean-shaven policy and complete a national police check
