This position is an outstanding career opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor, experienced in mobile equipment on a mine site. This exciting role will provide diverse exposure to operations at Whitehaven’s Blackwater Mine and our class-leading fleet of machines.

The Role

• Permanent full-time role
• 7 on 7 off rotating day & night roster
• Based out of Blackwater mine site
• Report to the Maintenance Superintendent
• Preventative maintenance and availability
• Provide leadership and supervision to our maintenance team
• Assist the team on the tools as required
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
• Contribute towards any improvements or initiatives relating to productivity or costs

What You’ll Need

• Australian recognised diesel fitting trade completion certificate or relevant experience
• Current G1, G8, G9 & G2 tickets (or equivalent)
• Maintenance experience with various large mining earthmoving equipment
• Ex-OEM experience highly regarded
• Current QLD ResHealth Medical and Standard 11 required
• Outstanding troubleshooting / diagnostic skills
• Current Blackwater site induction and Supervisor pass-out would be advantageous
