We're looking for experienced, trade-qualified HD Mechanics to commence our newly awarded long-term contractat Jimblebar Mine site. This is a great opportunity to work on a class-leading fleet including CAT haul trucks, dozers, loaders and more within an open-cut mining environment.

About the Role

• Full-time, permanent positions available
• Roster 8/6 (day shift only)
• Based at Jimblebar Mine
• Work on CAT haul trucks, loaders, dozers and more
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure machine availability
• Perform scheduled servicing, component change-outs and repairs
• Provide breakdown support and diagnostic expertise
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Applicants based in Newman are encouraged to apply, particularly First Nations candidates
• New long-term contract

What You'll Need

• Heavy-Duty Fitter or Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate
• Proven experience with CAT mobile plant in open-cut mining
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Dual-trade (HD / Auto Electrician) qualifications are highly regarded
• Ability to meet BHP site access and compliance requirements
