About the Role
We
are seeking experienced and safety-focused Boilermakers to join our heavy
mobile equipment maintenance team at Sino Iron.
This is a hands-on role working on large-scale HME equipment, supporting
repairs, maintenance, fabrication and welding activities across a class-leading
fleet in a site-based mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out boilermaker, fabrication and welding repairs on heavy mobile equipment
- Supporting planned and breakdown maintenance activities across the HME fleet
- Completing structural repairs, crack repairs, cutting, gouging, grinding and general fabrication tasks
- Working on equipment such as CAT D11 dozers, Hitachi 5600 and 3600 diggers, and Komatsu WA1200 wheel loaders
- Inspecting, repairing and maintaining buckets, blades, frames, trays, guards, handrails and attachments
- Working safely with maintenance supervisors, tradespeople and other site personnel
- Completing tasks in line with site safety requirements, procedures and supervisor direction
Requirements
- Australian recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
- Proven experience working on heavy mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment
- Experience with mining equipment structural repairs, fabrication and maintenance support
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and teamwork
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings and maintenance requirements
- Experience working on CAT, Hitachi or Komatsu HME equipment (highly regarded)
- Ability to complete a mask fit test and comply with site-specific safety requirements
Roster and Conditions
- 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster
- Dayshift only initially
- FIFO from Perth
- Camp accommodation and meals provided
